Your Legacy System Is More Than Old Code.

Over time, a business critical application becomes more than software. It holds years of business rules, operational decisions, reporting requirements, user knowledge, and workflows that may exist nowhere else.

Modernization should protect that value. The goal is not to replace a working system simply because it is old, but to understand what must be preserved, what should be improved, and how to move forward without unnecessary disruption.

Business Knowledge Lives in the System

Important rules, exceptions, processes, and decisions are often embedded in years of code and daily use.

What Works Should Be Preserved

Protect the workflows, reports, and capabilities your organization depends on while improving the technology underneath them.

Change Should Reduce Risk

Modernize with a practical path that improves maintainability without creating unnecessary operational disruption.

Experience Behind Statewide Soft.

Statewide Soft was founded in 2005 by principal consultant Ted Kim, whose experience developing and supporting business software began in 1990.

Over the years, he has worked with operational applications for commercial industries, including freight forwarding and pest control, as well as software used by California government agencies. His experience includes AIRS, CARTS, and DRBS, which support inspection and reporting processes for many California counties.

More than three decades of working with business applications provides a perspective that is especially valuable in legacy modernization: understanding not only the technology, but also the business rules, user workflows, and operational knowledge that must be preserved when a critical system moves forward.

A Practical, Low Risk Approach to Modernization.

A successful migration is more than a code conversion. We begin by understanding the application, its business rules, its users, and the risks of change before recommending a modernization path.

Statewide Soft focuses on practical, phased modernization so your organization can keep operating while critical systems are stabilized, migrated, and improved.
